The Cliburn will produce a new media project consisting of a new documentary and live and on-demand broadcasts of all performances for the 2025 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. This new media project will highlight Fort Worth through targeted footage and reels and be distributed throughout the world.

As the nation prepares to celebrate the 5th annual Juneteenth, after its designation as the 11th federal holiday, we are planning to showcase our city once again as the unifying center point of Juneteenth commemorations.

The theme for 2025 is “TRANSCENDING TRADITIONS” – While celebrating the storied legacy of the clarinet, the membership is encouraged to also explore beyond the traditional mainstream to showcase clinics and performances that reflect a wider view of the instrument’s journey within our connected world and allow our community to discover new avenues of expression.

Arts Fort Worth is hosting an inaugural city-wide event, convening arts and culture stakeholders (nonprofit professionals, independent artists, educators, civic leaders, funders, etc.) to learn, share, plan and celebrate.

To bring the international glass art community together to celebrate the achievements of the local glass art community, and present four days of lectures, exhibitions, demonstrations, panel discussions, from the most outstanding glass artists in the world.

Our vision for this project is to kick off the conference with a welcome reception that highlights the hospitality, western heritage and community that makes Fort Worth a special city for the approximately 250 ALP conference attendees.

The festival was created to celebrate the Black musical traditions and history at the heart of American roots music, putting Fort Worth on the map among traditional music and culture lovers and drawing new audiences to the Black reclamation and innovation of roots music.

The FWPDF has been funding projects in Fort Worth since 2002.
